Pink Power 2006 is over now and it was fabulous to say the least ! But what would it have been without you ? A big thank you to every single one you. You made this event so much fun and worthwhile !

PINK POWER was newly-created as a European gay and lesbian karate-event by BUSHIDO Munich e.V. It took place for the very first time in 1999 in Munich.

Impresssed by the exceptionally great experience of participating in Martial Arts tournaments at the Gay Games 2002 in Sydney, we decided to organize PINK POWER a second time.

But this time, in 2003,  it became – in cooperation with the IAGLMA (International Association of Gay and Lesbian Artists) – an international event of Martial Arts to prepare for the eurogames munich 04.

Now, we are organizing PINK POWER a third time. 2006 is an important year for BUSHIDO Munich e.V. as this year is our 10th anniversary – and we want to celebrate this event with friends from all over the world.

There will be a lot of interesting workshops and performances offered at PINK POWER in different Martial Arts and styles.

PINK POWER takes place on the opening weekend, of the famous “Oktoberfest“ in Munich. It starts on Friday evening, 15th September, an ends on Sunday, 17. September at noon.

Sunday after the closing of PINK POWER, there’s a big gay and lesbian event at the Oktoberfest in the “Bräurosl“ beer-tent. If you like, you can go there and enjoy gay & lesbian life in Munich.
